CrossFit Kids Brooklyn is about Forging the Future of Fitness™. At CrossFit Kids Brooklyn, we put the FUN in fitness! The program is not just a scaled-down version of the adult’s CrossFit program. It has been specifically designed for the developmental and physiological needs of children.

What is CrossFit Kids

CrossFit Kids is a strength-and-conditioning program designed to effectively teach the CrossFit methodology to children aged 3-18 years through age appropriate instruction and cueing.

In a group setting, kids participate in fun and engaging workouts that deliver measurable results. This prepares them not only to be well-rounded athletes, but also hard-working and tenacious people.

Attending a CrossFit Kids Registered Program means that your trainer has been background checked and this check is renewed annually.

Your trainer has studied how to teach CrossFit to children using age appropriate cues and methods.


What's the difference

CrossFit Kids workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness that is broad, inclusive and general (B.I.G) and are scalable for any participant at any level.

What this means is that each child experiences challenge and reward every workout, basing success on effort rather than comparison. Kids are training for life, rather than a small, sport-specific, skill set.

What to look for

  • Fun! Every class is loaded with age appropriate fun coupled with fitness.
  • Quality of movement is always prioritized above weight and intensity. The focus of every class is on how well the children move, not how much or how fast.
  • The movements are constantly varied and functional, e.g. squats.

Kids (Age 3 – 10) – Saturday 8:00 – 8:30

Teens (Age 11 – 18) – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 16:00 – 17:00
