CrossFit Brooklyn is a family-run CrossFit training facility centrally and conveniently located between the suburbs of Brooklyn and Groenkloof in Pretoria. Our qualified and experienced coaches are dedicated to teaching the correct CrossFit technique, sharing the genuine passion and respect they have for the sport and helping people attain their goals. Our coaches are CrossFitters themselves and live what they teach (and preach!).

When you join a CrossFit box, you join a community. A community that lifts you up and cheers you on when you think you can’t go any further. We look forward to welcoming you into our community.

Getting started

 

All newcomers are invited to a free introductory class to get a feel for CrossFit training. These will be held the last Wednesday of the month at 7pm and places are limited so book now!

Before you are able to experience your first proper CrossFit WoD (Workout of the Day), you will need to complete the On-Ramp programme. CrossFit is rewarding and fun but also technical and it is imperative the foundational movements are mastered to avoid injury and help you achieve those PB’s (Personal Bests – you’ll have to learn the lingo!).

The On Ramp consists of 5 classes held over 2 weeks (Mon – Wed in Week 1 and Mon-Tues in Week 2) and introduces you to the basic movements that comprise the CrossFit methodology. It is compulsory for all future CrossFitters and ALL sessions need to be attended (PLEASE BE CERTAIN YOU CAN ATTEND ALL 5 SESSIONS. IF YOU MISS ONE, YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT ON-RAMP TO CATCH UP). On-Ramp classes will be held at 6am and 7pm and are limited in size to ensure individual attention so reserve your place ASAP!
